Abiyad Ahmed, Advanced Care Practitioner (Trauma, Burn, Critical Care & Emergency), is highly trained in Medical Emergency and Critical Care. He provides expert care in preventative, diagnostic and curative measures. He assesses and stabilizes critically ill patients, develops individual's treatment plan, administer medications e.g. lifesaving drugs during various life-threatening situations, collaborates with other healthcare personnel and educate patients and their families about their diseased condition and preventative guidelines. He has completed a formal undergraduate degree in Critical Care from West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) and a Postgraduate degree in Critical Care (specializing in Cardio-thoracic & Vascular Anesthesia Science) Science from R.G. Kar Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata being registered with West Bengal University of Health Sciences (eminent hospital for Cardiovascular Surgery in Northern India). His special training equips him with advanced knowledge, critical thinking, skilled procedures, and research oriented critical care support.

Apart from the formal education, he has been awarded FCCS degree (a licensure recognition) from Society of Critical Care Medicine (USA), he has done NTLS (National Emergency Life Support Provider) from Society for Emergency Medicine India (SEMI).
